PLASTIC BANK AND EVO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
evo wants to bring about change for the better… which isn’t easy for a hair care brand that creates things for a living. Waste is unavoidable when you’re in the game of making and creating, but evo continues to strive to become the most responsible brand it can be. evo’s commitment? To minimize its impact, wherever it can.
To decrease its plastic footprint, evo currently uses green PE and is transitioning to PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic to further minimize the amount of virgin plastic it produces. Through this partnership with Plastic Bank, evo goes one step further to help protect the environment for future generations by collecting discarded plastic.
In the first year of this partnership, evo and Plastic Bank have gathered 42,800 kilograms of plastic waste from the environment – that’s the equivalent of over 2,054,400 single-use plastic bottles. And with each year that passes, that number will keep on climbing!
